Drum Circle on 17th

Deb brought news of the Drum Circle in Estes Park on Aug. 17, 2013. According to the e-mail:

"All are welcome, bring a potluck, bring a friend, bring yourself!!! We have extra drums and rattles. Pot luck at 6:00 , down to the fire around 7:30 or so. Hope to see  you then. Rose"

Deb knows where it is and you can contact her for place, rides, etc.

Star Gazing on the 17th

Joan noted star gazing at Fossil Creek the same night. Starts at 8:30 pm.  You could contact her for more info. (Hope that's OK, Joan.)  Maybe some of us could car pool?

A Hathor Planetary Message via Tom Kenyon: Orchidium

Deb talked to us about this and we read some of the Hathor Planetary Message through Tom Kenyon. It is quite extensive so here is the link:

Gene Keys by Richard Rudd

There was much discussion on this book.  You may have to search a bit to find a good price on it or, maybe, you might want to borrow a copy (I believe Janet has the one) before you decide.  Here's a link to availability on Amazon:  http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_9?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=gene%20keys%20richard%20rudd&sprefix=Gene+keys%2Cstripbooks%2C289

I see it is also available for Kindle. :-)

Mandalas

We also had fun creating Mandalas. "Creating mandala's is an ancient art process that speaks to us in contemporary time as a way to find our center and create balance in our lives. This slow, deeply meditative art process allows us the opportunity to open to the moment and create personal sanctuary through art making. No art experience necessary." From http://www.creativeartstudio.com/creative%20art%20studio/mandalas.html This page also includes many beautiful illuminated mandalas (on black paper). Get ready to be inspired!

New News

I forgot  to mention a couple of things I learned this week via the History Channel ( you KNOW I'd addicted to it!).  The last time we met there was some discussion about Pleiadians.  The body of evidence of our link to this group of stars continues to grow. For example, there are monuments around the world that point to them:  Devil's Tower in Wyoming, the Washington Monument in DC, the Pyramids in Egypt.  I'm making a list of this "coincidental" phenomenon so, if you know of more, please let me know.  Thanks, Joy.  In the meantime, here's a little teaser which includes mention of Sirius:

Our Solar System According to the Ancient Maya http://www.finalcall.com/artman/publish/Columns_4/article_6502.shtml

"After traveling to many places on our planet throughout the last 34 years, I have discovered that all ancient, Indigenous cultures and societies, have this belief system of their origin in the stars. The rituals and ceremonies that they practice contain the keys to remembering their past as handed down by their ancestors. Most of these traditions point to their origin in the stars. I have discovered in these investigations that the most commonly noted star systems they refer to are those of The Pleiades, located in the Bull Constellation and are commonly known as the Seven Sisters. Her central star or sun is Alcyone. Another prominent star system points to the Dog Star Sirius located in Canis Major or the Dog Constellation. It is the Dogan Tribe in Central Africa and Mali that had started the secret knowledge of their connection to this famous star with ancient roots in Egypt."
