A drop in the ocean

As I turned 60 and can no longer ignore the fact that I am getting old, I find myself more frequently mulling over my life, regrets and all the things I should have done or should have done differently. I guess it was not surprising that the labyrinth card I drew this morning said:

Release intention on the way to the center -- "I acknowledge and bless my power struggles and judgement of others."

Renew intention on the way out -- "I choose conscious interactions and own my "shadow" projections."

This was no surprise to me....I find myself wanting to "fix" people and things especially when I see them suffering. However, sometimes it is not my place and some times it is not possible. Therefore, the image came to me of a stone dropping in the ocean. We can take action and throw a stone in the ocean of life but the ocean/Universe/God determines where it will land and where the ripples will go.

All we can do it put the energy forward, make the intention and then let the outcome be determined by a Higher Power. So, I'm letting this message go as my "drop in the ocean" today. I may or may not ever know if it has any "ripple" effect but, then, it doesn't really matter does it? It only matters that I "threw the stone."
