Connected to the Universe

Many things have changed in our lives since the origin of this blog. I have discovered, as you may have also, that we are now receiving answers to questions and direction in our lives at a very fast pace. And, lest we think we are not connected, think again. I had this come home to me in a very real way yesterday.

I have recently moved to Ft. Collins, CO and, since the weather is great here and I am interested in labyrinths, I just had to go exploring. After walking what seemed to be an old, overgrown labyrinth in the middle of town (hidden in plain sight) I "checked in" as I usually do and asked for some confirmation that animals indeed lived IN the labyrinth and counted on it for sustenance. This arose from the feedback that the overgrown and, supposedly, neglected site should not be mowed, weeded, or changed in any way. (I should explain that the labyrinth seems to be used as a water runoff area so it is a little "bowl" about 40 feet across.) In a matter of only a few minutes, a red fox came running across the parking lot, leaped down the slop and made a kill. He settled only about 6 ft. from there and proceeded to have lunch. Despite noticing me watching, he remained in place until someone came along calling for him. He then ran under a thick bush and I did not see him again.

So, are we connected? Do things happen fast? Yes, indeed. It also occurred to me that it may be that sometimes we/I get so wrapped up in the every day happenings of life that the answers and direction go unnoticed. I'm sharing this story with you for several reasons: 1) It is an amazing story, isn't it? 2) We can and should ask. 3) We need to pay attention and be aware of the answers and guidance that are around us.

If any of you have similar stories, please feel frees to share by "Commenting" to this post. I have always said, "I love people's stories!"
